Sarah Mayburn So much more
Okay, well bunking school wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do. Not even on a friday, but it was cloudy enough that she could go outside in the daytime. She could hear the distant rumbeling of thunder and if she searched the skys she would be able to see them but to be perfectly honest she didn't really like light. The crashes were coming closer and soon the clouds burst, bringing forth buckets of wet water.
Well what did you expect Sarah? Rain is wet! She thought to herself chastizingly. She shook head as the water began to plaster her black hair to her face making her seem even more pale than what she was. A adult human or even a werewolf would presume her ill. Oh but how she would laugh if they found out what she was.
She watched them skuttle away underneath thier black umbrellas. So pityful. They thought they ruled the city but oh all the others did. If there was anything she loathed more than her own kind and werewolves it was humans. But she couldn't do anything about it now. She went to lie down underneath a oak tree, the wet grass making her feel a bit uncomfortable but soon she was asleep.
When she woke the sun had already set and the moon was high in the sky. The bit on her wrist felt like it was on fire, she turned to look at it and wasn't suprized to see it open again. Her clear vampire blood spilling out a bit too freely. She took her scarf and wrapped it around the slit.
Okay now bunking school and heading out to the park in the middle of a rainstorm seemed a bit stupid. The water that had so freely let go so that other droplets could take hold now held her tightly in her grip. She was in a bit of a dangerous situation. She could walk but not run so hopefully she would have no need to do either. Oh and to make matters worse it was full moon. Nobody would come and rescue her now...As if they would anyway. -x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x- OOC: Words: 380-there is a word counter below the preview button. Kveld O'Connor Protect and Serve Til Death do us Part The day started off like any that the weather reporters stated: High chance of rain, possible early thunder storms, calming toward the evening, and clearing up completely during the late evening hours. Kveld O'Connor watched as the clouds moved in and let it pour over Rawian city. Sighing, Kveld stepped out into the rain, his long, black trench coat keeping his dry, while the umbrella kept his head dry.
The park was within walking distance of Galloway Bar, so before the moon rose, Kveld decided to see who was trespassing through the park. As he walked, he found that a very noticeable scent wafted through the park, causing his head to turn and him to slowly lower the umbrella. Closing the umbrella and laying it beside the swings. The old oak tree that he could remember climbing on as a child, seemed to stand out in the approaching darkness. His eyes shifted from dark green to soft amber as he peered through the darkness, spotting a figure laying under the oak tree.
"It be unwise tae sleep out in dis park," he stated, moving silently toward the girl. His muscles were tense, trying his best to fight off the change that sang through his blood. The scent of the girl was driving him insane, something about it made him want to bow down and lay at this girl's feet. "Does yer ma know yer out 'ere? Ye'll be catchin' yer death," he stated.

Sarah Mayburn so much more
Sarah turned to look at the approaching figure. He seemed human, but at the moment the moon was covered with clouds. She eyed him suspiciously, she couldn't move at this moment but he didn't have to know that did he?
Sarah! You are been ridiculous! She thought to herself, it was most probable that he was human anyway. Her senses were not calling him a threat anyway. She silently smiled, thank goodness for the vampireness of her. Even though she hated it it still helped her a few times.
"My mother..."She said leaving out a pause before chuckeling "She wouldn't care, nor my father and anyway I was not planning on sleeping here...tonight." Maybe in summer but not the middle of winter, her hair was just a few icicles hanging from her head and her eyebrows were frosted with ice. If she were not a vampire she would have been hyperthermic, considering the fact that her clothes were stuck to her body.
She remebered her brother once telling her that in antarctica it wasn't the cold that killed you, it was the water that froze you. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a sign with her picture on. Missing: Sarah Mayburn Age: 15 Hair: Black Eyes: Blue
Missing since..
She turned back to the man standing infront of her "And anyway catching my death would be a bit hard, considering the facts that is" Somehow she felt some sort of trust between him and her, as if her were a vampire as well except for the fact that unlike with most vampires she met, she didn't want to kill him.

Kveld O'Connor Protect and Serve Til Death do us Part Following the girl's glance, Kveld noticed that there was a Missing Person's paper on the oak tree. Glancing back at the girl, he thingyed his head to the side, slowly slipping his trench coat from his shoulders. "Sarah Mayburn, I presume?" he thingyed a half grin at the girl as he placed out one hand and the other with his coat. "As for yer parents . . . . I'm sure dey would be missin' deir fifteen year old lass, if dey found out dat she had ditched school, fell asleep in a local park in a rainstorm, and talkin' tae a total stranger," he fished, eyes returning to dark green before the clouds uncovered the moon.
The girl was dripping and covered in ice crystals forming on her skin and hair. His coat would barely keep her warm, what she needed was to get out of this cold air and into something warmer. "Would ye like for me tae walk ye home?" he questioned, hoping it didn't sound strange that a lone man walked into the park with no intent of meeting anyone and asking to walk her home. "Ye can trust me," he stated, hoping to put the girl at ease. It was good that he had gone out hunting the night before and the moon wasn't one-hundred percent full.

"You wouldn't like the nieghborhood" Sarah said. She knew she was supposed to be cold but she didn't feel it. For goodness sake she could see icecalls hanging from her nose. She felt frosted yet not cold.
"And it wouldn't like you" She added, she broke the ice and worked her fingers till they had a bit of blood running through them. She then stood still for a few moments before stalking off. If this man decided to follow her then he was incredibly stupid or thought she was a human child and she was worried.

Kveld O'Connor Protect and Serve Til Death do us Part Kveld felt a low rumble started to form within Kveld's chest as he watched Sarah walk off. Grunting, he shrugged his coat back on once more and turned to follow her. "Have we met before?" he questioned as they moved through the park. As they passed the swings, he wondered off and grabbed his umbrella, before returning slightly off to the side of Sarah.
Hearing that her neighborhood wouldn't like him, Kveld couldn't contain his muzzle. "What? Yer neighborhood have somethin' against werewolves?" he chuckled, shaking his head while running his fingers through his hair. He had learned that humans hardly believed that their best friend could be a werewolf or vampire, when in truth it turned out their uncle was something worse. [/blockquote]

"I doubt it" Sarah said, she didn't think she had met him before. Irritated that he had decided to folllow her she began to walk faster...well until she heard the werewolf part. Then she stopped, turning to look him in the eyes. Her wrist had stopped bleeding a short time ago. All she had was two small open punctures hidden by a scarf.
"A werewolf" She said uncertainly, her heart beating faster. The war between thier two races would surely mean her death. Even though the moon was not fully full he was still older than her and most likely stronger. She did have her gifts but how far would they protect her before the other vampires rejected her?
"Your a werewolf?" She stuttered. Yes she hated thier species but been alone with one much older than her made her scared. She turned to run. Running through the park taking twists and turns hoping to bump into another Vampire or some one who could help her. If he found out what she was she would be in a little bit more than tinge of trouble.

Kveld O'Connor Protect and Serve Til Death do us Part Kveld sighed as Sarah turned and ran after questioning him about his comment on wither or not he was a werewolf. "If only ye hadnae run, little dove," he growled, dropping the umbrella and giving chase as any excited werewolf would, no matter the age.
Within a matter of moments, he spotted Sarah and growled. "Why 'rre ye runnin, lassie?" he howled, legs pumping while his arms pistoned against his chest. It surprised him how much effort he was having to put into this to catch what seemed like a human girl. [/blockquote]

Sarah cringed as she heard the werewolf catching up. Of course he would catch up! He was a werewolf, not a human. She closed her eyes and tried to get her legs to carry her faster and they did... Straight into the tree.
It was dark, very dark. She couldn't hear anything nor smell anything. She was isolated from the world. Nothing could get her here, it was so calm, so peaceful. So far away from the pain of the world. She felt like she was on a cloud. She could feel that it was slowley turning into grass. And that she had a gash on her forhead. A pinkish substance was leaking from it. She pondered for a few moments before setteling on the idea that it was vampire blood mixed with a bit of human blood. After all her body was still changing and adjusting. She still couldn't hear and her sight was fuzzy.
She couldn't remember at first what had happened but then the pain of the gash shot through her body making her moan. Her hands shot up to the wound covering it. It was hard to move and it hurt...alot. She only remembered the running. She would focuse on why later. She closed her eyes lying back again. Only a week as a vampire and she was badly injured. How fun. Now it would have to heal and she would have to find a place where she could stay longer than two nights or so.

Kveld O'Connor Protect and Serve Til Death do us Part Catching up with Sarah had been easier than Kveld had hoped. It had been quiet some time since he had last had such fun chasing down anyone. Yet, when he caught up to Sarah and saw her lying on the ground at the foot of a tree, he guessed that she had started running with her eyes closed and hit, head first, the tree. Sighing and shaking his head, Kveld moved slowly toward the prone girl.
"Now listen 'ear lassie," he whispered, his voice rolling like the earlier thunder. "I be pickin' ye up now . . . . Ye'll be comin' wid me til I be knowin' if I can trust ye wid me secret," he whispered, slowly bending down and slipping his arms under the girl's upper back and legs. "'Ear we go, lassie," he said, before lifting her up. So far, it was alright, she wasn't struggling. [/blockquote]

She didn't know what to do, her mucsles wouldn't move. She knew if her saw or even smelt his blood he would know what she was. She wanted to sleep but she couldn't. She wanted to run but her body was unresponsive. The gash on her forhead was pounding. It was a bit worse than what she had first though it to be. She tried to move or do anything she could to get away but her body wouldn't listen. She was beggining to get a slight bit irritated with all this, she couldn't move and she was in the arms of some one who would kill her assoon as he caught sight or smell of her blood.
She let him take her, she closed her eyes and surrenderd to the overcoming sleep that was begining to take her over. Hopefully death wasn't to painfull.
